Equality
Equality
Part of the role of the Welfare/Equality Officer focuses on diversity in the university and aims to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and equally. This means, for example, no matter if you’re 16 or 60, straight, LGBT, Irish, International, religious, have special needs or a disability, there is a place for you in ATU Donegal and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
Don’t be afraid to pop up to the Welfare/Equality Officer in the SU at any time if you have any questions or issues or if you just fancy a chat.
Diversity Week takes place during January each year and is a week where we celebrate all the diversity we have in the college. We encourage all students to get involved – this is a great opportunity for everyone to embrace and celebrate our diversity!
